The Beginning
For years, I was caught in the same cycle so many women know well—working constantly, putting everyone else first, and telling myself I'd chase my dream "when the time was right."
Then Hurricane Ida changed everything.
After losing our home, I found myself living in a camper with time to think and an internet connection. I became fascinated by skincare science and taught myself cosmetic formulation from the ground up, asking question after question until I understood not just how products were made, but why certain ingredients truly benefited the skin.
The Turning Point
As I developed formulas, something unexpected happened. I began questioning the messages I'd heard my entire life about beauty and aging. Everywhere I looked, skincare promised the same thing: fight aging, erase wrinkles, turn back time.
But healthy skin and younger-looking skin aren't the same thing. I realized I didn't want to create another brand built on the fear of growing older. I wanted to create one built on the joy of caring for ourselves.
